Chinese insiders, in turn, argue that the company may completely abandon the release of new models. This may be due to the fact that the release of smartphones will have to be postponed, but the premiere of the Redmi K50 family is scheduled for early next year.
Recall that Redmi K40S Pro will be the Chinese version of the recent Xiaomi 11T Pro. It will receive a Snapdragon 888 chip, 120-watt charging, a 108-megapixel camera and a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. But Redmi K40S will not be an exact copy of Xiaomi 11T. The key differences will be support for fast charging with a power of 120W instead of 67W and a 50-megapixel sensor in the main camera instead of a 108-megapixel module.
