Today, Xiaomi introduced a number of new devices, including the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 dual router system to cover large houses, as well as the new Mi Smart Projector 2.
Some homes cannot be fully Internet-enabled with a single router. For these purposes, the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 kit is presented from two devices, which are enough to cover houses up to 370 m2 and serve up to 254 devices.
The Xiaomi AX3000 network system uses Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and 2×2 MIMO for fast connection between two points and devices connected to them. A set of two routers will cost 150 euros.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 projector was also presented at a price of 600 euros. It can display a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution image, and the image size ranges from 60 inches (at 1.6m from the wall) to 120 inches (at 3.2m). There’s an HDMI port on the back with Dolby audio support, as well as a 3.5mm jack if you want to plug in external speakers or headphones.
The device runs Android TV, so you can install various streaming services directly on the projector, use DLNA or other wireless content sharing system. The USB 2.0 port allows you to quickly project photos from a flash drive. Google Assistant supports voice commands.
