As planned, Xiaomi held a big global presentation where they introduced some interesting products. The first and most important of the new products is the Xiaomi 11T Pro.
Design
Before the announcement, we had already seen renderings of the smartphone, so its appearance was not a surprise. The front has a screen with thin bezels and a small hole for the front camera. At the back is the main camera platform with three modules.
Xiaomi 11T Pro measures 164.1 x 76.9 x 8.8mm and weighs 204g. The body is made of aluminum and Gorilla Glass Victus. The novelty also boasts a side biometric sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and USB-C support.
Characteristics
The Xiaomi 11T Pro hardware platform is built on a 5nm Snapdragon 888 chip, which is complemented by 8-12 GB of RAM. An expected upgrade compared to Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro with Snapdragon 865. The drive is characterized by a capacity of 128 GB or 256 GB, depending on the modification.
The main feature of the smartphone is support for fast 120-watt charging. At the same time, the package includes a memory of the appropriate capacity. According to the manufacturer, a 5000 mAh battery (two 2500 mAh cells) is fully charged in 17 minutes.
Another feature of the novelty is the screen. It is built around an FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz sensor sampling rate. The maximum brightness is 1000 nits. The matrix measures 6.67 inches diagonally and received an A+ rating from DisplayMate. We also note HDR10+, Dolby Vision, TrueColor, Sunlight Mode 3.0 and Reading Mode 3.0.
Out of the box, Xiaomi 11T Pro runs on MIUI 12.5 firmware and Android 11. The new flagship has Wi-Fi 6, GPS, NFC, infrared and Bluetooth 5.2 in the arsenal. There is no headphone jack.
Camera
The main camera has a resolution of 108 MP. It is based on a sensor with 0.7 micron pixels and supports the combination of nine neighboring pixels into one. The aperture is f/1.75. There is optical image stabilization.
Xiaomi 11T Pro also has an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle module with a 120-degree capture angle and f/2.2 aperture. The third component is a 5MP telemacro sensor. For those who like to take selfies, there is a 16MP front camera with f/2 aperture.
Issue price
Xiaomi 11T Pro will be available in three colors: Meteorite Grey, Moonlight White and Sky Blue. Modifications 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB will be available to customers at a price of 649, 699 and 749 euros, respectively. At the start of sales, the first buyers will be able to purchase a novelty in the basic configuration for 599 euros within 24 hours.
