On its Twitter account, Xiaomi has confirmed the release date of the new 11T series of flagship smartphones — the premiere will take place on September 15. At the same time, the manufacturer additionally told users about some technical details of the devices – for example, from a series of rumors, some information about Xiaomi 11T Pro goes into the category of confirmed data.

It is known that the Xiaomi team has long been preparing to release a new series of relatively affordable flagships. According to the popular YouTube channel The Pixel, the older model will get an advanced Snapdragon 888 chipset, an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5000mAh battery with 120W charging (the latter was officially confirmed by Xiaomi on Twitter).

For comparison, the previous generation version of the Mi 10T Pro at one time received a charge of 33 W and a 144 Hz display, but only LCD. The Twitter post indirectly confirms Xiaomi’s abandonment of the Mi brand — the corresponding name is not mentioned anywhere in the text.

Bloggers have also revealed the price of the 11T Pro smartphone, which will cost $570-657. The Mi 10T Pro model was not sold in the United States, and in Europe it cost the equivalent of $544. Given the potential improvements, the new price could be quite reasonable. If the data is confirmed, the novelty can become one of the cheapest smartphones on the flagship Snapdragon 888 – approximately on a par with the Realme GT.

According to reports, Xiaomi is preparing a variant(s) for a less solvent audience of 11T powered by MediaTek chipset. It is also expected to get an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
