Who updated?

LineageOS is one of the most popular skins. In the winter of 2021, the developers announced the end of support for Android 9.0 Pie, and in the spring they announced LineageOS 18.1 software.

The firmware is based on the Android 11 operating system. Formally, it is available for three Xiaomi smartphones, but in fact this list turned out to be wider. This is because the company sells the same devices under different commercial names, depending on the region.

LineageOS 18.1 is available for the following models:

  • POCO F2 Pro;
  • Redmi K30 Pro / Zoom Edition;
  • POCO F3;
  • Redmi K40;
  • Xiaomi Mi 11X;
  • POCO X3 Pro.

The firmware has in its arsenal all the functions of the Android 11 operating system. Among the features worth noting is a new data backup utility with NextCloud support, a fully working dark mode in all applications and a new Etar calendar instead of AOSP.
