Xiaomi Mi 12 is expected to be the world’s first smartphone based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 platform — its premiere could take place as early as November. And although there is very little time left before the announcement (and the design of the device has already been clearly finalized), there are no clear indications of how the model will look like. He wrote that he heard that the Mi-12 «looks something like this.» Well, I have not yet seen cameras in the shape of the letter M, although, apart from the visual form, there is nothing new in the arrangement of sensors along the diagonal of a conditional rectangle. For example, you may remember Poco X3 Pro.
The letter M in this case most likely symbolizes the Mi corporate logo, but Xiaomi, according to the latest data, decided to abandon it. So it may very well be that the photo shows only some prototype of a possible Xiaomi smartphone that did not go into production.
