According to GizmoChina, the project to flash the Windows 11 operating system on the Xiaomi Mi 8 smartphone has made significant progress. The footage associated with the project showcases GPU support, power management, Wi-Fi, and a few other features. They all work great on the device.
However, something went wrong with some features. It is noted that there are problems with the Bluetooth driver and the GPU cannot display x64 programs. But work on the project continues, so many problems can be solved in the coming weeks or months.
Xiaomi Mi 8 was introduced in 2018. He received a 6.21-inch display with a resolution of 2248 x 1080 pixels and a «visor» on which the proprietary 3D face recognition system is located. The smartphone is also equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip with up to 6 GB of memory and a 3400 mAh battery. Because of its appearance, it has been nicknamed the iPhone X clone.
