Xiaomi announced that it has promptly replenished stocks of stores with Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 smartphones, which will go on free sale tomorrow.
Recall that the first lightning sale of Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 took place just a few weeks ago, on Monday. The batch was very limited and included only a few tens of thousands of smartphones, which were sold out in one minute. Now a larger batch should go on sale.
Xiaomi is to be commended for replenishing stocks fairly quickly: the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro tablets also appeared in stores, although the first batch of 200,000 tablets sold out instantly on Monday.
Previously, Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, apologized to fans again this morning that not everyone was able to buy Xiaomi Mi Mix 4. He clarified that the production of the smartphone is delayed due to the lack of Snapdragon 888 Plus single-chip systems and ceramic cases, which cost 5-6 times more than glass cases.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is the company’s first smartphone with an under-screen front camera that is almost invisible, as shown in real photos. The smartphone received a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of Full HD + (2400 x 1080 pixels) with a 20-megapixel sub-screen camera. The triple main camera has a resolution of 108 megapixels and offers a 50x hybrid zoom. The battery capacity is 4500 mAh, the smartphone supports 120-watt wired and 50-watt wireless charging. The device is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ single-chip system, has Harman Kardon stereo speakers, supports UWB, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
