An unknown smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Gionee with model number GNS2112Y has been certified by the telecommunications agency TENAA. The Chinese regulator has published specifications and images of the device, which, by its camera design, evokes associations with Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones.
Gionee GNS2112Y has a body with dimensions of 174 x 81 x 11 mm and a weight of 214.5 grams. The device turned out to be quite thick, although the battery capacity to date is quite modest at 3920 mAh. The smartphone will be released in China in black, white, blue and red colors.
The phone has a 6.81-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The phone is equipped with an eight-core single-chip system and runs on the outdated Android 9 Pie operating system. It will be available with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of storage. There is a slot for microSD memory cards.
The smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and three or four image sensors.
