You can already order it on AliExpress.
A post-announcement of the new Redmi 10 suddenly appeared on the official Mi.Com website. It was quickly deleted, but the screenshots, of course, quickly spread across the Web and now we know everything about the new product.
Externally, it differs significantly from last year’s Redmi 9, and the design is more similar to the flagship Mi 10 Ultra than other devices in its line. The smartphone received a 6.5-inch display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz versus 60 Hz for the previous model. The display frequency is automatically adjusted according to the usage scenario to save battery power.
The 8-megapixel selfie camera is located in a hole in the center of the screen. The main camera consists of 4 modules: the main one is 50 MP, the ultra-wide angle is 8 MP, and the macro and depth sensors are 2 MP each.
The new single-chip platform MediaTek Helio G88 without 5G support is responsible for performance. It is complemented by 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage, depending on the modification. The smartphone received a massive 5000 mAh battery with fast charging via USB-C up to 18 watts. 22.5W adapter included.
Redmi 10 retained the 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, and the fingerprint scanner is built into the side panel. Out of the box, it runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 skin.
The smartphone is already available for pre-order on AliExpress at a price of 14,206 rubles, but it makes sense to wait for the start of sales on August 23 at 10:00. For the first 2 days, there will be a special discounted price, and customers will receive tempered glass and Mi Band 6 as a gift — but you need to get into the first thousand and one hundred orders, respectively.
