Xiaomi has just announced a new model of its MIX series — unlike the MIX Fold, Xiaomi’s first foldable phone, the new flagship does not have a folding screen. However, MIX 4 is also a phone with some unique features — it is the manufacturer’s first smartphone with an integrated camera and support for ultra-wideband, as well as the world’s first phone equipped with a Snapdragon 888 Plus processor. MIX 4 features a 6.67-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The screen is a 10-bit TrueColor panel with a contrast ratio of 500,000:1. Xiaomi claims that the display also has Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The display uses micro-diamond pixel technology, which reduces the size of pixels and increases their brightness. Xiaomi claims that the redesigned display provides better transparency to the camera area — it sits just behind the display at the top of the front, with no cutouts or other unnecessary elements. The smartphone also boasts up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The MIX 4 smartphone is already available in four configurations:

8GB RAM + 128GB = $770. 8GB RAM + 256GB = 817.12GB RAM + 256GB = 894.12GB RAM + 512GB = $972.

For now, the MIX 4 smartphone will be available for pre-order starting today and will be available for purchase from August 16 at Mi Home Stores, Xiaomi Online Store, Youpin and authorized partners.
