The first official pre-sale of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 smartphone began at 22:00 Beijing time, right after the end of yesterday’s Xiaomi press conference. The company confirmed that all stocks of smartphones were sold out on pre-orders within minutes.
As usual, Xiaomi is not talking about the specific number of pre-order smartphones, but Jingdong and Tmall platforms are known to have over 350,000 people in line for this flagship phone. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is the company’s first smartphone with an under-screen front camera that is almost invisible, as shown in real photos. The smartphone received a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of Full HD + (2400 x 1080 pixels) with a 20-megapixel sub-screen camera. The triple main camera has a resolution of 108 megapixels and offers 50x hybrid zoom. The battery capacity is 4500 mAh, the smartphone supports 120-watt wired and 50-watt wireless charging. The device is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ single-channel system, has Harman Kardon stereo speakers, supports UWB, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
