The premiere of new Xiaomi products will take place in the near future, but so far the Mi Pad 5 tablet has been tested in the Geekbench test. In total, three versions will be released in the line, including Mi Pad 5, Mi Pad 5 Lite and Mi Pad 5 Pro. It is also expected to release a stylus specially designed to work with new generation gadgets.

According to Geekbench, the Mi Pad 5, code number M2105K81AC, will feature a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core chipset, 6GB of RAM, and Android 11 with a version of the MIUI shell.

On Geekbench, the tablet scored 997 in the single-core test and 3181 in the multi-core test. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile platform is compatible with fifth-generation communications, but it is not yet known if it will be available in all models. The Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro are expected to get it, while the Mi Pad 5 Lite will cost less than the Snapdragon 778G or MediaTek Dimension 1200.

The Mi Pad 5 (M2105K81AC) is expected to feature a 10.25-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by an 8720 mAh battery, and 65 W fast charging is provided (it has already received certification from the Chinese 3C regulator). The rear surface will house a 20-megapixel main camera and an additional 13-megapixel sensor of unknown purpose. To protect information on the side surface, a fingerprint scanner is provided.

It is likely that Mi Pad 5 Pro will come with a Smart Pen stylus — it was recently certified by the US Federal Communications Commission. Well-known insider Mukul Sharma also revealed that keyboard cases will be released for the new products.

There is no reliable data on the price of devices yet. It is known that the premiere will take place today in China.
