The coverage of Xiaomi smartphones with the MIUI 12.5 shell is expanding. This time, the final version of the firmware was released for two rather old models — Mi 8 Lite and Mi Mix 2S. The first, recall, was introduced in September 2018, and the second even earlier — in April of the same year.
Interestingly, the size of the updates is small: in the case of Mi Mix 2S, it is 346 MB. Along with the new firmware, smartphones received a lot of innovations, but not only: MIUI 12.5, according to official data, consumes memory more economically (35% less than in the previous firmware version) and battery power (25% less).
