Xiaomi has announced the final version of the MIUI 12.5 proprietary shell for the Mi Mix 2S smartphone, released more than three years ago. The update, which weighs just 346MB, is still rolling out to Chinese users. The new version of MIUI is reported to consume 35% less memory and 25% less battery than MIUI 12.
Recall that Mi Mix 2S is characterized by a ceramic body, a 5.99-inch IPS screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and Full HD + resolution, a 12 MP dual camera with optical zoom and optical image stabilization, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 platform, up to 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB of internal flash memory, 3400 mAh battery and support for fast charging 3.0.
