Xiaomi recently announced that sales of its branded walkie-talkies exceeded 2 million units. The company also introduced a special edition of the Mi Walkie-Talkie to celebrate this achievement.
The first Xiaomi Mi walkie-talkie was released in 2017 and won awards for good design, as well as iF Design, Red Dot and IDEA, which are very well known in the field of design. In October 2018, Xiaomi released the Mijia 1S walkie-talkie. In April 2019, the company updated the lineup with the release of the Mijia Walkie-Talkie 2 radio. The latest model, released in September 2020, was the Mi Walkie-Talkie Lite.
The walkie-talkies are distinguished by an affordable price, minimalist design, long operating time and signal reception range. The price of Xiaomi portable radios ranges from $20 to $70.
Xiaomi’s new limited edition walkie-talkie is only available in red and blue colors, pricing and availability information is not yet available.
