A new piece of information about the Mi Pad 5 tablet computer, which is expected to be announced by the Chinese company Xiaomi in the near future, was at the disposal of network sources.

According to the latest data, the gadget will be enclosed in a thin body, and the size of the touch screen will be approximately 11 inches diagonally. The refresh rate of this panel is called 120Hz.
The device will allegedly be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip. This processor combines eight Kryo 585 cores with a clock speed of up to 3.2 GHz, an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X55 5G cellular modem. Most likely, the novelty will be offered in versions with and without cellular support.
It says that there is a dual main camera: it will include a 20-megapixel sensor and a unit with a 13-megapixel sensor. Power will be provided by a powerful battery with a two-component configuration: a total capacity of 8720 mAh. Among other things, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner is mentioned.
Note that there is currently an increase in demand for tablets, which is explained by the development of remote work and distance learning platforms in the context of the pandemic. IDC estimates that in the first quarter of this year, sales of such devices jumped 55.2% year on year to 39.9 million units.
