Earlier this year, Xiaomi promised to revive the Mix line of smartphones and kept that promise with the release of the Mi Mix Fold. However, this large, flexible-screen model bears little resemblance to the line’s predecessors, and there have been rumors that the successor to the original Mi Mix 3 could be cancelled. According to the source, Mi Mix 4 is being actively tested — in the MIUI code it is represented under the designation Odin.
Some characteristics of this model are already known. So, it is built on Snapdragon 888 and supports 5G, NFC and UWB. The screen in this case is standard-OLED with a frame rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, but this model is likely to receive a sub-screen front camera. Samsung Samsung HM with 108 MP instead of the 50 MP Samsung GN2 found in the Mi 11 Ultra.
What the Mi Mix 4 will look like is still a big question, but Xiaomi has not given up on the idea of releasing a slider smartphone. It is quite possible that the images from the patent application published recently on the Internet show exactly this model.
