Xiaomi recently released the stable version of its MIUI 12.5 skin. Some smartphone models have already been updated to this version, the second phase of the update is scheduled for June, but Xiaomi fans are already looking forward to MIUI 13. The network has leaked information that the 13th version of MIUI will be introduced at the beginning of the second quarter, namely June 25, 2021. At the same time, it is clarified that not all popular Xiaomi devices will receive it. So, smartphones from the Mi 8, Mi 9, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8, Mi MIX 2S and Mi MIX 3 lines will not be updated to MIUI 13.
In addition, the user interface of MIUI 13 will be significantly upgraded compared to the previous version. Smartphones running it will get an updated interface and lock screen, new animations, improved performance and energy efficiency, as well as improved privacy and security features. There are no official announcements from Xiaomi regarding the release schedule for MIUI 13 yet.
