The chip, which is manufactured using a 6nm process, supports updating GPU drivers, similar to how it is implemented in some high-end Qualcomm chips. The amount of RAM is up to 12 GB, and the storage capacity reaches 256 GB.

In terms of cameras, the Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition features a triple main unit with a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.65 aperture. The manufacturer claims that the smartphone uses an extra-low dispersion optical glass lens for the first time in the industry. The main sensor is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Redmi K 40 Enhanced Edition is equipped with powerful stereo speakers developed in collaboration with JBL. Announced support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. The smartphone is equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 wireless modules. The capacity of the battery that supports 67 W fast charging is 5065 mAh. Announced support for Quick Charge 3.0 and Power Delivery 3.0.

Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition can be pre-ordered from today. The smartphone will go on sale April 30. The most affordable configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will cost $310. Modification with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cost $415.
