Xiaomi announced the Mi Mix Fold on March 30, its foldable smartphone. The foldable smartphone first went on sale on April 17, and data released by the company shows that the $1,530 Mi Mix Fold smartphone was completely sold out in one minute.
The number of devices sold was not disclosed, with the foldable device’s highest price of $2,000, the company is rumored to have sold more than 30,000 units.
The display of the smartphone measures 8.01 inches when unfolded with a resolution of 2480 × 1860 pixels and a pixel density of 387PPI. The main display also has HDR10+, 1.07 billion colors, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and supports Dolby Vision. When folded, the phone sports a 6.52-inch flexible AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2520×840 pixels. The smartphone also has a 90Hz refresh rate, 700 nits brightness and equally supports Dolby Vision. The Snapdragon 888 processor is paired with 12/16 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of storage to boost the performance of the smartphone.
It is not yet known when the flagship will go on sale again or when it will enter the global market.
