According to a post on the net, Xiaomi plans to release at least three more devices this year based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. Unfortunately, it is not yet known which models are in question.
As a reminder, the Snapdragon 870 SoC is an overclocked version of last year’s Snapdragon 865+ flagship chip. The processor is built using 7nm technology. It has a high-performance Kryo 585 (ARM Cortex-A77) core with a maximum clock speed of 3.2GHz, an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and an integrated Snapdragon X55 5G modem.
By the way, Xiaomi is not the only company that uses the Snapdragon 870. The Moto G100 and OnePlus 9R smartphones based on it have recently been released. Also, the iQOO brand is preparing for the announcement of such a novelty.
