Today, Xiaomi introduced the new Surging C1 proprietary processor, which is Xiaomi’s first professional image processing chip.
In 2017, Xiaomi released the Surging S1 single-chip system, but then the company took a big break and now released the Surging C1. Unlike Surging S1, the novelty is an independent image processing unit (ISP).
The Surging C1 processor uses proprietary algorithms developed by Xiaomi to help smartphones perform more complex and better image processing. This processor is responsible for fast and accurate autofocus, white balance and auto exposure.
The Surging C1 will make its debut in the XiaomiMix Fold foldable smartphone with a flip screen, and will appear in other mobile phones in the future.
