According to the latest information, the Chinese manufacturer will hold another event today, March 30th. It will feature Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold, the company’s first foldable smartphone. A photo of the promo poster of the model has already appeared on Weibo, which revealed its design and main characteristics. So, Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold is confirmed to have a foldable design. The Chinese text at the bottom of the poster states that the device features an 8.01-inch 2K foldable screen with 1.1 billion colors (10-bit) and is powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform.
The rear camera module MI MIX Fold resembles the design of the cameras in Xiaomi Mi 10S. The main sensor here supports a resolution of 108 MP, an interesting feature of the lens is the use of a liquid lens. In addition, the smartphone will provide 3D sound and is equipped with four speakers from Harman Kardon. Xiaomi is also expected to announce its own Surge chipset on March 30th. Currently, there is no information about its technical characteristics.
