Among other things, today Xiaomi introduced another variant of the Mi 11 series. It is called Mi 11i and features a high-end 6.67-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display, a 108-megapixel main camera and a Snapdragon 888 SoC at a price closer to mid-range devices. In fact, we are talking about the renamed Redmi K40 Pro +.

Today, the launch of Pro and Ultra versions of the Mi 11 smartphone was expected, but Xiaomi managed to surprise. The manufacturer claims that the new 11i retains much of the design of its flagship brother, albeit with some simplifications that have allowed the device to be placed in the middle class.

The Mi 11i triple camera includes a 108MP ISOCELL HM2 1/1 main camera. 52 «sensor — an impressive camera with f / 1.75 aperture and a round LED flash. Unfortunately, the other modules cannot boast of anything outstanding: this is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with optics (f / 2.2; 119 °) and a 5-megapixel module with optics telemacro f / 2.4. Front camera-20 — megapixel f / 2.4.

An AMOLED screen can offer advantages such as a refresh rate of 120 Hz (touch layer frequency is 360 Hz), brightness up to 1300 cd / m2 and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass. However, the fingerprint scanner is not hidden under the display: it is located on the side of the Mi 11i, in the power button of the device. Dimensions 163.7 × 76.4 × 7.8 mm with a weight of 196 grams, there is support for two SIM cards, 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5) , NavIC and NFC.

Mi fans will notice that we are talking about an almost complete analogue of the Redmi K40 Pro + for the international market: this is the flagship Snapdragon 888 chip and a 4520 mAh battery. However, Mi 11i is still somewhat simplified: instead of 12 GB of LPPDDR5 RAM, the device can only offer 8 GB.

The starting price of the Xiaomi Mi 11i is significant for a Chinese flagship — €649 (around $763) for the high-speed 128GB UFS 3.1 storage variant (no mention of microSD card support) or €699 ($822) for the 256GB version. Xiaomi Mi 11i will soon go on sale in leading stores in Europe.
