Another novelty of yesterday’s Xiaomi mega-presentation in China was the Xiaomi Mi AX9000 tri-band Wi-Fi router.
What is known
The novelty received an aggressive appearance and support for three bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 5G_Game. The latter is designed specifically for games. The device runs on Qualcomm’s six-core dual-cluster platform. It has four CPU cores and two NPU cores. Depending on the connection frequency, the AX9000 supports speeds up to 4804 Mbps. In addition, it works on a Wi-Fi 6 network.
Of the interesting things about the new product, it is also worth noting support for MU-MIMO and OFDMA with the ability to connect up to 16 devices, four antennas, LAN ports, USB 3.0 and a fan for cooling. Naturally, you can manage and configure the router using the proprietary Mi Home app.
Price and when to expect
Xiaomi Tri-Band Mi AX9000 Wi-Fi Router has already started selling in China. The issue price is 152 US dollars.
