Tomorrow Xiaomi will officially present its flagships Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, but the main characteristics of these models have already been confirmed on the Web. And judging by them, the devices have received everything that a modern flagship needs. And even more.
From the common — Snapdragon 888 single-chip platform, 2K screens at 120 Hz, 5000 mAh batteries, Harman Kardon stereo speakers and IP68 protection. For Xiaomi, the presence of the latter is not yet typical (even for flagships), so the transition to the production of fully protected smartphones can only be welcomed. The presence of IP68 protection is confirmed by the official teaser.
And now — about the differences. Dual (wired and wireless) charging only appears in the description of the Mi 11 Pro, which suggests that the Mi 11 Ultra can support even more powerful charging. For example, with a power of 120 W, like the Black Shark 4. And the description of Mi 11 Ultra differs by the mention of a ceramic case. Recall also that yesterday Xiaomi revealed details about a unique cooling system, the day before yesterday an innovative battery was confirmed, and a little earlier, the presence of a large Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor in a 1/1, 12-inch optical format in the smartphone.
At first glance, it may seem that the Mi 11 Pro / Ultra has a lot in common with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, but in fact, Xiaomi’s new products will be better — with faster charging, better camera and sound. But in terms of screens, there’s clearly parity here: the Mi 11 Pro and Ultra use AMOLED — Samsung’s E4 generation panels — they’re also used in many of this year’s other flagships, including the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
