On March 10, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi Mi 10S smartphone for the Chinese market. However, today information appeared on the Internet that hints at the imminent global launch of this device. Xiaomi Mi 10S has been spotted in the database of the Google Play Console service, intended for Android application developers, where only «selected» devices fall.

This «leak» was originally spotted and published by American insider Mukul Sharma. Based on the information in the screenshot, we can conclude that the smartphone, unlike its Chinese counterpart, will receive a Qualcomm chip with serial number SM8350, which belongs to the Snapdragon 888 family. In the version for the Chinese market, Xiaomi Mi 10S is equipped with a slightly simplified Snapdragon 870 processor.
The list also includes features like 8GB of RAM, a 2340×1080 (FHD+) resolution screen, and Android 11 out of the box. These parameters correspond to the Chinese version of the smartphone.
While it is difficult to draw any conclusions about the release, we should wait for official statements from Xiaomi and some new details. But given the fact that only devices with support for Google services that are not available in China get into the Google Play console, this event really is the first «bell» for the smartphone to enter the global market.
