The global version of the device, which will be called Mi Band 6 (or Mi Smart Band 6), has already begun to pass certification with regulatory authorities in various countries, including India and Indonesia. Now the network has new details about the capabilities of the upcoming device.
When analyzing the latest version of the Mi Fit app, designed to work with Xiaomi health monitoring products, there were mentions of a new useful feature that will debut in the Mi Band 6. We are talking about the ability to reply to SMS and messages in popular instant messengers such as WhatsApp and Telegram. Judging by the data found in the Mi Fit code, users will be able to choose an answer from a list of pre-prepared options.
According to previous leaks, Mi Band 6 will be significantly superior in functionality to the current Mi Band 5. The fitness tracker will be able to measure the level of oxygen in the user’s blood, and will also be equipped with NFC and GPS modules. In addition, the device will boast support for Amazon Alexa voice assistant and a larger screen compared to its predecessor.
