Contrary to expectations, Xiaomi did not announce the Mi 11 Lite smartphone along with the global launch of the Mi 11 flagship model. But the younger version will appear on the market over time. Well-known leaker *Digital Chat Station* has shared an image of the upcoming Mi 11 Lite, which shows a key detail that distinguishes the younger model from its older brother.

In these high-quality images of the Mi 11 Lite, you can see the device from the front and back. From the back, it is very similar to the regular version of the Mi-11. Like the older version, the younger version of Mi 11 Lite will receive a triple main camera unit. All differences are located on the front side of the device and lie on the screen. In the Mi 11 Lite model, it will be flat, without curved edges, and will get a wider frame. The latter aspect will make the device more comfortable, making it easier to use with one hand.

The top and bottom sides of the Mi 11 Lite are not visible in the render, so it’s hard to say if the younger model will retain the 3.5mm audio jack present in the older version. But there is no doubt about the presence of a USB Type-C connector.

The source of the image also hinted that the Mi 11 Lite is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Recall that in the older version, the fingerprint sensor is located directly below the display. Whether the Mi 11 Lite will use an AMOLED screen like the older version is unknown. But usually Xiaomi uses IPS panels in more affordable devices.

As for the technical characteristics, according to the latest rumors, the smartphone will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor without support for 5G networks. The device will be presented in two versions — with 64 or 128 GB of permanent memory. The amount of RAM will be the same in both cases — 6 GB. The novelty is also credited with a 4150 mAh battery and support for 33 W fast charging.
