Xiaomi management continues to stir up public interest in the upcoming announcement of the «people’s flagship» Redmi K40.
This time, Wang Teng Thomas, Head of New Products at Xiaomi, posted a screenshot of the Redmi K40 on his Weibo page.
Enthusiasts immediately found out an interesting detail — the screenshot has a resolution of 690 x 1533 pixels, on the basis of which it was concluded that the aspect ratio of the smartphone screen is 20:9.
Fans also noticed that the status bar with service icons has been moved down quite a bit, which once again confirms the management’s repeated statements about a record-breaking small cutout for the front camera of the future novelty.
According to data posted on Weibo, Wang Teng Thomas and Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and CEO of Redmi, are now fully using the Redmi K40 smartphones.
Xiaomi and Redmi top managers have already confirmed the use of Redmi K40 OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 platform, no wireless charging, price no higher than $465.
