Sources confirm the information that Xiaomi has released a new version of last year’s flagship smartphone, which received not only a new single-chip system, as previously thought.

A couple of weeks ago, rumors began to circulate that the Chinese tech giant was working on a new Mi 10 model with the recently introduced Snapdragon 870 SoC. Last week, Digital Chat Station reported that Xiaomi had already launched a new version of the Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone.

It has now been revealed that a smartphone with model number M2102J2SC has recently been certified by China’s 3C regulator, which confirmed that it is equipped with a 33W charger. This means that the new version of the smartphone will support faster charging. The original model supports 30-watt charging.

Snapdragon 870 is manufactured on a 7nm process — it includes four ARM Cortex-A77 cores and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores, as well as an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator. The main difference from the Snapdragon 865+ is the frequency of 3.2 GHz instead of 3. 1 GHz.

Earlier, Xiaomi officially announced that prices for all versions of last year’s flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 will be reduced. Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group China and CEO of Redmi, said that this flagship still has no flaws and Xiaomi plans to sell this smartphone for another year.
