A leak has appeared on the pages of the Chinese microblogging service Weibo, revealing the main characteristics of the upcoming mid-range smartphone from Xiaomi. The exact model name is not known, but it is expected that it will be a device from the Redmi K40 or Xiaomi Mi 11 series. According to preliminary data, the future smartphone will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 775G (SM 7350) chipset, which will be introduced in the first quarter of 2021 . Snapdragon 775G is a 5nm chipset with Cortex-A78 architecture. The single-chip system supports up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, standard UFS 3.1 file storage, and displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Compared to its predecessor Snapdragon 765G, Snapdragon 775G processor performance will increase by 40% and graphics by 50%.

In addition, the leak said that the upcoming smartphone will receive an OLED display with a hole for the front camera and a 64 MP main camera. There is also a possibility that the model will be equipped with a telephoto lens with a 5x zoom. There are no more details about this device yet.
