The long-awaited Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series of tablets was recently released in China, while the global version has already started selling in Belarus even before the official announcement. Now the global version has been tested in the popular GeekBench benchmark.
The device goes under the Xiaomi model number 21051182G, while the previously tested Chinese version has the Xiaomi model number M2105K81AC. The device is equipped with a single-chip Qualcomm system clocked at 3.19 GHz. The platform is codenamed Nabu, which corresponds to the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with Snapdragon 860 SoC.
The tested tablet has 6 GB of RAM and runs on the Android 11 operating system, on top of which the MIUI skin for Pad is installed. The M2105K81AC achieved a score of 781 in the single-core Geekbench test and 2800 in the multi-core test.
The Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro tablets received 11-inch IPS screens with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz and support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision technologies. At the time of release, only 300 basic apps were well-optimized for MIUI for Pad. But by the end of the year, Xiaomi will be adapting over 2,000 MIUI apps for the Pad.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is equipped with 8MP and 13MP cameras, 8720mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Mi Pad 5 Pro received Snapdragon 870, 8600 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
