Xiaomi, after a recent leak, has officially announced the mid-range smartphone Redmi 10: sales of new items will begin this coming Friday-August 20.

The device is based on the MediaTek Helio G88 processor, which contains eight cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz. Power is provided by a 5000mAh rechargeable battery with support for 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging.

The 6.5-inch display has a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels — FHD + format. AdaptiveSync technology allows the device to switch refresh rates between 45, 60 and 90Hz.

An 8-megapixel camera is installed in the front. The quad rear camera combines a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro module, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

In the arsenal of the smartphone there are two speakers, a side fingerprint scanner, a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The dimensions are 161.95 × 75.53 × 8.92 mm, the weight is 181 g. It uses the Android 11 operating system with the MIUI 12.5 add-on. The following options will be on sale:

  • 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage — $179;
  • 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage — $199;
  • 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage — $219.
